Data internationally indicate that other forms of human trafficking are ignored or not taken into consideration. In the United States for example, the law is discriminative because it only covers two types of human trafficking: sex and forced labor trafficking. The law provides a mutual relationship between trafficked victims in exchange for their assistance to prosecute offenders. Studies indicate that these two types of human trafficking are uneven; about 70% cases investigated by agencies showed that 34% involved only labor trafficking while 36% was only sex trafficking.
